Estonian Olympic Rugby Championships (ex. Rugby Sevens) have been held now for 23 times since the formation of Estonian Rugby Union in 2007. In June 2009 the ERU formally received recognition as the governing body of Rugby Union in Estonia from the Estonian Olympic Committee with permission to represent Estonia at international level. Parallel to growing rugby XV in the country, rugby sevens was formed and thus the Reapers had to get to work.
Märjamaa Vikat is a force to be reckoned with ever since its creation in 2009. With almost fifteen years of experience, the club has seen its fair share of ups and downs. No matter the odds, no matter the threat - we are here to conquer.
And then there was one. One true King. Märjamaa Vikat has been dominating Olympic Rugby format since 2015. The Kings of rugby in Estonia will be only one of many chapters about RFC Märjamaa in the history books of Estonian Rugby Union.
From small town hooligans to Gentlemen of rugby. IX-time national champions. Are you ready to be part of the legacy? Join us now.
We would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all of YOU who have stood by our side throughout the years. Always cheering, never doubting. Always making us push further and tackle harder. Without the support and love of all of YOU there would be no Märjamaa Vikat. THANK YOU for your continuous support!
